2nd Amendment

 "Sanctuary Cities"

A Symptom Of A Bigger Problem

Lawmakers feel the wrath from both sides of the gun debate in Ohio, which remarkably are similar in message; that no one is listening to their opinions and their values are not being taken into account.

One side wants action by state lawmakers, in light of recent tragedies, on common sense approaches to restricting gun violence and increasing public safety while the other side remains steadfastly against any kind of a restriction on gun ownership. As a result some towns and counties are debating whether to adopt non-binding resolutions declaring themselves “2nd Amendment sanctuaries”.

These non-binding resolutions are the results of politicians in our state legislature getting little to nothing done for our communities. Our communities want to focus on making sure sidewalks are accessible, parks are safe, schools funded, and many other issues.
